A few showers or thundershowers are expected in sea areas extending from Kankasanthurai to Pottuvil via Puttalam, Colombo, Galle, and Hambantota. Winds will be south-easterly with speeds of 20–30 kmph. Sea conditions around the island will remain slight, but temporarily strong gusty winds and very rough seas may occur during thundershowers.
