Mainly dry weather is expected to prevail over most parts of Sri Lanka today, bringing stable and pleasant conditions across the island. No significant rainfall is forecast for the majority of areas, allowing outdoor activities and travel to proceed without major weather disruptions.
However, misty conditions can be expected during the early morning hours in the Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central, Southern, North-Western and North-Central provinces, as well as in the Vavuniya district. Motorists are advised to exercise caution due to possible reduced visibility in these areas.

Mainly fair weather will prevail over the sea areas surrounding the island. Winds will be variable in direction with speeds ranging between 20–30 kmph. The sea condition is expected to be slight, providing generally calm conditions for fishing and marine activities.
