Residents in these areas are advised to remain vigilant, especially during the late afternoon and evening hours.

Mainly fair weather will prevail over most other parts of the island, bringing generally dry and stable conditions throughout the day.
Misty conditions can be expected during the early morning in parts of the Central, Sabaragamuwa, Western and North-Western provinces. Mist may also occur in the Anuradhapura, Galle, Matara, Monaragala, Mannar and Vavuniya districts, potentially reducing visibility for motorists during the early hours.
The general public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize possible damages caused by temporary localized strong winds and lightning during thundershowers.
