Mostly Fair Conditions with Isolated Showers

The Department of Meteorology forecasts generally fair weather conditions across most parts of Sri Lanka today, with only a few isolated showers expected in selected areas.
A few showers may occur in the Uva and Eastern Provinces and in the Matale, Nuwara Eliya, Polonnaruwa, and Hambantota districts. Outside these regions, the island is expected to experience mainly fair weather throughout the day.
In addition, misty conditions may develop during the early morning hours in parts of the Sabaragamuwa and Central Provinces, as well as in Colombo, Kalutara, Badulla, Galle, and Matara districts, which may affect visibility for commuters.
Motorists and the general public are advised to exercise extra caution in mist-prone areas during the morning hours.
