SRI LANKA WEATHER FORECAST FOR 15 AUGUST 2026

Sri Lanka is expected to experience a mix of rainy and showery conditions on Saturday, 15 August 2026.
Showers will occur at times in the Sabaragamuwa Province and in the districts of Kandy, Nuwara-Eliya, Galle and Matara. Several spells of showers may also occur in the Western and North-Western provinces. Meanwhile, a few showers or thundershowers are possible in the Monaragala, Ampara and Batticaloa districts after 2.00 p.m.

The public is advised to remain cautious during thundershowers, as temporary localized strong winds and lightning could occur. People are encouraged to take appropriate precautions to minimize possible damage and avoid unnecessary exposure during severe weather.
