heavy falls expected in several provinces.

Fairly heavy rainfall of around 75 mm is likely at some places in the Western, Sabaragamuwa,
Central and North-Central provinces, as well as in the Trincomalee district. Residents
in these areas should remain alert to changing weather conditions and take necessary
precautions during periods of heavy rain.

A few showers may occur in the coastal areas of the Mannar and Jaffna districts
during the morning hours. Misty conditions are also expected at some places in the
Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central and Uva provinces during the early morning.

The public is advised to take adequate precautions to minimize possible damage caused
by temporary localized strong winds and lightning during thundershowers.
